وعن واثلة بن الأسقع رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : " لا تظهر الشماتة لأخيك، فيرحمه الله ويبتليك". ((رواه الترمذي وقال: حديث حسن))
وفي الباب حديث أبي هريرة السابق في باب التجسس: " كل المسلم على المسلم حرام" الحديث.
Selon Wâthilah ibn Al-Asqa’ (رضي الله عنه), le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « Ne te réjouis pas ouvertement des malheurs de ton frère. Il se peut en effet qu’Allah lui fasse miséricorde et t’éprouve à ton tour. » [At-Tirmidhi, selon qui le hadith est authentique (hasan)]
On pourrait citer ici le hadith [n°1570] rapporté par Abou Hourayrah au chapitre sur l’interdiction d’espionner, où il est notamment dit : « Tout, chez le musulman, est sacré pour les autres musulmans. »
